What this page covers
This page is about financialbrain.ai, the website. It describes the analytics that run here and the choice you have about them.
It is not the description of what happens to a client’s records inside an installed Financial Brain. That is a different question with a different and much longer answer, and it is governed by the Install Agreement and the Data Protection and Subprocessor Statement issued with it. If you are a client or deciding whether to become one, ask for those documents. Do not rely on this page for it.
The short version
- This site has no accounts and no login.
- One form: a private beta request. It emails us your name and address, nothing else.
- Nothing you type into the setup guide is sent anywhere. It stays in your browser.
- Analytics measure traffic. You can turn them off, from anywhere.
- We do not sell or share personal information, and we run no advertising.

We do not run advertising or ad-personalisation tags on this website, and we do not sell or share what these tools collect.
Your choice, and where the banner appears
Where the law requires consent before anything non-essential loads, we ask first and load nothing until you answer. That applies in the European Union and European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. If your country cannot be determined, we treat you as though it does apply.
Everywhere else, analytics run by default and you can switch them off at any time using the Privacy choices control. We chose not to show an interstitial to people who are not being asked a real question by their own law.
Declining means the tag never loads. It is not a setting passed to Microsoft while their script keeps running. If you decline, the Clarity script is not added to the page, on that visit or on any later one.
Your choice is stored in your own browser under financialbrain-analytics-consent-v1. It never leaves your device, which also means clearing site data will make us ask again.
The private beta form
The one form on this site asks for your name, your email address, and optionally a sentence about what you are hoping Financial Brain answers. It is used to reply to you about the private beta and for nothing else. We do not add you to a marketing list.
Submitting it sends those fields as an email to us. The email is delivered by Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.), acting as our processor for that delivery. The message lands in a Financial Brain mailbox and is not stored in any other system.
Please do not put financial records, account numbers, tax information, or credentials in that form. It is an ordinary email path and is not the place for any of it. To have your request deleted, email james@financialbrain.ai.
What the setup guide does with what you type
The install and update pages generate commands for you to copy. Anything you enter, a file path for example, is held in the page while you are on it and is never transmitted to us. There is no server on this site to receive it.
Server logs
This site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes requests on our behalf and handles the network-level information that any web request involves, including IP address, in order to serve the page and protect against abuse. We do not maintain our own separate log of visitors.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. Email james@financialbrain.ai and a person will answer. We do not require you to create an account to ask, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Changes
If this page changes in a way that affects what is collected, we will change the date at the top. There is no version of this where the practice changes and the page quietly stays the same.
